Baltimore Police are looking for suspect who shot dead his father in front of his children

Jake Rogers, a 34-year-old Baltimore Department of Public Works employee, was loading his three children into a van Thursday morning when a suspect rushed over and shot him.

The Baltimore Police Department is now asking the public to help identify the gunman, who can be seen in video hiding in a neighbor’s yard across the street before they run over and shoot Rogers.

The gunman, who is described as “a black man of medium height and build, dressed in black”, fled on foot from the scene immediately after the shooting.

Rogers was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. Her three children escaped the shooting unscathed.
