BU (18-11-3, 12-7-3 HEA) opened the scoring on a 4-on-3 power play just six minutes into the first period when Wilmer Skoog fired a glove-side pass from Matt Brown top from the slot.

The Eagles responded at 15:14 from center frame as McLaughlin put McBain in the left wing circle and the elder fired a shot from the right post to beat Commesso’s glove side.
