When officers arrived, they learned that Schadler did not even own a moped and that nothing had been stolen. Schadler, however, had an arrest warrant for criminal contempt for misdemeanor. He was also jailed for possessing a suspected methamphetamine pipe.
David William Kidder, 44, from Anaconda was jailed on Saturday afternoon for burglary of a residence and assault with a weapon.
According to police reports, Kidder was seen leaving his former residence in Block 900 of Iris Ridge Road by the current owner’s son and his friend.
When Kidder saw the two men he allegedly attempted to remove a knife from his belt but was quickly tackled and pinned to the ground.
Kidder reportedly said he just wanted his things and would leave. The men let him go, but did not allow him to enter the house. Officers were able to locate Kidder later that day and arrest him.
Tyler John Ossello, 23, of Butte was arrested on Saturday afternoon on charges of assaulting a partner or family member and tampering with a communications device.
Police have been dispatched to the 400 block of Virginia Street to investigate a disturbance. The victim told officers that Ossello threw a drink at her and when she went to call 911 he tried to pick up the cell phone. The two found themselves on the ground, fighting over the cell phone. He then allegedly hit her in the face, causing her nose to bleed.
